Richmond Historic Sites & Interpretive Centres

Open Tuesday through Sunday, this museum explores colonial history in Texas through historical buildings, artefacts and photographs. Guests have the chance to visit three historical buildings, including the Long-Smith Cottage, which is furnished to represent middle-class life in Richmond during the mid 19th century; the 1883 John M. Moore Home, which is decorated in neo-classical style; and the 1882 McFarlane House, which now houses the museum's administrative offices.

Exploring over 100 years of Texas history, this historical park features a working ranch, a blacksmith, a Victorian home, interactive exhibits and more.
